These Membership Terms (“Membership Terms”) apply to restaurant membership in the American Restaurant Purchasing Group & Restaurant Association (“American RPGA”). They supplement the Website’s Terms & Conditions.
1. Restaurant Membership Is Free
American RPGA restaurant membership is FREE. American RPGA does not charge restaurants a membership fee or recurring membership dues.
Free membership does not mean that every product, service, purchasing program, vendor offering, or third-party service available through the network is free. Participating vendors may charge for their products or services according to their own terms.
2. Eligibility
Membership is intended for restaurants and other eligible eating establishments and restaurant-related operators that meet American RPGA’s participation requirements.
American RPGA may review an application and may request additional information before accepting a restaurant into the network.
3. Membership Application
Applicants agree to provide accurate and current information. American RPGA may contact an applicant to clarify information or confirm eligibility.
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
4. Member Benefits and Programs
Members may receive access to purchasing opportunities, preferred vendors, business resources, educational information, and other programs developed by American RPGA.
Programs and benefits may change as the network develops. Availability may vary by location, vendor, product, volume, eligibility, and other conditions.
5. Vendor Relationships
American RPGA may introduce or make participating vendors available to members. Each vendor remains responsible for its own products, services, pricing, warranties, delivery, customer service, licensing, and performance.
Members should evaluate vendor offerings independently and review all applicable vendor terms before purchasing.
6. No Guaranteed Savings
American RPGA is designed to help restaurants use collective purchasing power and access potentially valuable programs. However, American RPGA does not guarantee a specific price, discount, rebate, savings amount, or financial result.
7. Member Responsibilities
Members agree to:
- Provide accurate information to American RPGA
- Use American RPGA resources for legitimate business purposes
- Deal with participating vendors in good faith
- Comply with applicable laws and vendor requirements
- Protect any confidential information they receive
- Notify American RPGA of material changes that affect their membership information
8. Membership Status
American RPGA may suspend or terminate a membership if a member provides materially false information, engages in unlawful or abusive conduct, misuses American RPGA resources, violates applicable terms, or otherwise acts in a manner that materially harms the network or its participants.
A member may also request to end its membership by contacting American RPGA.
9. Changes to Membership Programs
American RPGA may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue programs, vendors, benefits, or resources as the organization develops.
